Learn how to make your first trade on Elbaite's marketplace.
Before you begin, make sure you have:
On your dashboard you will see the onboarding steps. Select 'Make your first trade' to begin the process.
You will now land in the marketplace. The marketplace is a collection of offers to sell crypto.
Once you have found an offer that suits what you are looking to buy, click the 'Buy' button on it.
Upon clicking 'buy' in the marketplace, the offer details window will open where you can interact with the offer and review the details of the offer.
Once you are happy with the offer selected, click into the input region of the interface where it states 'Buy' and enter the amount you would like to purchase from this offer. If the amount entered is above or bellow the order limit of the offer, the interface will let you know via an error.
Next you must select which wallet you want your crypto to arrive in. If you are looking at an offer for Bitcoin, then the wallet dropdown list should only show Bitcoin addresses from your crypto address book.
Please note, you can always add new wallets, edit wallets and remove wallets by heading to your account and visiting the wallets tabs. Here you will see your crypto address book and can manage all addresses.
Important - always verify your destination wallet is of the correct token, network and the specific address you wish to receive crypto to. Due to the nature of blockchain transactions, crypto sent to the wrong address is unlikely to be recovered.
Here you can view a summary of your order before executing it. Once confirmed, click 'Buy now' and your order will be placed.
On your dashboard in the 'Pending Transactions' card you will see your order. Click on it here to view expanded details.
If you are happy with the offer selected, click into the input region of the interface where it state 'Buy' and enter the amount you would like to purchase from this offer. If the amount entered is above or bellow the order limit of the offer, the interface will let you know via an error.
Now you have made your first trade on Elbaite, you are primed to continue trading. Enjoy.
